Can anyone tell me if I can move part of my mortgage?
Ill explain further..
I have a fixed rate mortgage on the house which I have had since 2005, ,however the fixed rate will end in October.
The second part ,is ,I took out another mortgage to have an extension and this is on interest only for the next three years.
They are both with the same building society,but the rates for me coming off the fixed rate,are very high.
Im trying to find out if I can move just the fixed rate mortgage to another bank,and leave the interest only with the original building society?
They tell me Im not entitled to go on a tracker when I come off the fixed rate..
