Hi, we got our Aga installed but the man that did it said he doesn't turn it on, just supplies and fits? We have to get a black flue for this and get someone to turn it on, I live in Co Louth. Does anyone know of anyone that would do this job for us, and to service our Aga in the ongoing future. Can't seem to find anyone??
 
i take it you didnt buy it from an aga shop.we got ours from aga shop galway.price included been built and commisioned by their fitter.i believe this to be the only way for it to be done.and they also included that pipe you mentioned..

Find it surprising that the guy who fitted didn't turn it on i.e. light it for you. Don't know if your is reconditioned or new. I have one for 15 years purchased from Ivan Stanley Tullow and installed by his brother Robert Stanley, Errill, County Laois he services it every year and lights it up.

No affiliation just a happy customer.

Does anyone know a man who can service an AGA, I was going to get Haldane Fisher but they do not service aga's that were once solid fuel, converted to oil for some reason, as it is an oil aga now. I live in Louth and I can't seem to find anyone within our region to do this for us??
 
Anyone know of someone who would service an old aga in county Galway area (East) - solid fuel?
 
I recently had to have my Waterford Stanley stove serviced. I am sure that they both have similar systems.

Try Tom Lally in Menlough, near Mountbellow. Know he does oil aga but he has been on the go for years so solid is not a problem.
