I am looking to invest about 5k into a plc company which was recommended by a work friend who is heavily invested also but as I am a first time invester I am a bit weary and know very little about investing.
How can I go about purchasing stock from the company, I think they are quoted on the london stock exchange. My friend at work knows a good bit about the company and I believe he is friends with the finance director so hopefully thinks will go as planned.
Any recommendations are welcome.
