First overseas buy - Porto area, who handles the closing?

Thinking of buying a small 2-bed in the Porto area this year to rent out long term. For anyone who's done a purchase in Portugal, did you use your own solicitor or the agent's legal team for the deeds and closing? Curious how far your final all-in cost ended up from the asking price once IMT, notary and registration fees were in.
