There is an intumescent strip around fire doors which expands in heat to help block smoke. It looks like a draught excluder strip. Could this be the problem?
If your doors are sticking, its more likely that they are swelling, or some of the intumescent strips are not installed properly, they might be loose, and catching on the door edge.
