Looking for an independent fee-based financial adviser who also has taxation knowledge. List of registered adviser from Financial regulator, most seem to represent various insurance products etc. Although I could borrow for a house extension, I would also like advise about selling shares - no all portfolio - inherited 25 year ago. Would like to know who to approach and discuss before committing etc.
