After a write down of our mortgage of €44,333.57 in July, our cheque for interest refund of €13,798.92 arrived by post yesterday. Also our new mortgage repayment amount has reduced by almost €500 per month. Our mortgage was at €369,446 in January 2012. I can't thank Brendan and all who pushed this issue enough. I was very much a bystander observing all the threads and really I think we all owe Brendan a huge debt of gratitude as he has made huge efforts to bring AIB to book over this issue.
