I am looking to get a fence and gates around my front garden. It is a corner site with a small 3 ft wall in front of a row of evergreen trees (over 10ft). The trees are not thick enough to give privacy, plus becasue the wall is so low, people throw rubbish into our front garden like cans and crisp packets etc.
I am also hoping by putting a fence up on the outside of the trees it may quieten the traffic noise.
Ideally it will be high enough to give us privacy and strong enough to last. Also was thinking of making the gates electric.
What are the restrictions with regards planning permission?
Can anyone recommend companies that supply and install fencing and gates for homes (based in South Dublin)?
