Hi
I have adhesive felt pads on the bottoms of the chair legs however every so often the adhesive loses its stickiness and the pads come off, with 16 legs altogether it's a pain when they start coming off one by one and the legs are scraping the floor. The ones I have are from Atlantic HC, I'm looking for something a bit longer lasting - any ideas? I heard about ones you can actually nail into the bottom of the chair leg, anyone heard of those?

have one from heatons, on for five years (were ones that were circle shaped) had originally bought a large pad and then had to cut them myself, hardly move the chair and they fell off,,,,,

I wouldnt nail them in cos the nails will damage your floor. If the only problem is the adhesive loses its stickiness could you glue them on yourself with some kind of strong glue?

Make sure the botton of the legs are clean and give them a rub of sandpaper. This should make the pads stick better.

I'va had some on for 9 years and have only replaced one or two.

Bought felt pads in Tesco (their own brand) recently to replace pads on a suite of furniture which were nearly ten years stuck on (and which needed a fair bit of prising to get off!!!).

The Tesco ones seems equally sticky and the pack includes a variety of sizes, some of which you can cut yourself.
