Faulty Sash Windows

Hi, does anyone know a company who can repair badly fitted sash windows. They were only installed in 2003 by the builder who since has gone awol and there is no way we can trace same. They are loose and very draughty, and let in a lot of dust. When we powerwashed the outside of the house, water came in through the timber sides even though the windows were locked and closed. The noise outside is also bad, and you can hear peoples conversations outside the street with the windows closed. They need to be resealed or something but we need professional advise. Otherwise we will have to tear them out and reinstall new windows which obviously will cost a small fortune. Thanks. Rosellyn

If you're Dublin based I can give you the name of a carpenter who did an excellent job building & installing my front door. His card mentions sash repairs also.
