Fault in TEVION 42 "LCD TV

Bought this in Aldi. 3 year Warranty expired 3 weeks ago. The TV appears to be overheating. When the TV is on for 20 mins or more interference occurs and eventually a screen appears with horizontal coloured lines (similar to a test card). When I switch off the TV and turn it on again it is ok for a short while and then the same thing happens.
Have searched the web and it was suggested that the problem relates to the capacitors. Anyone any ideas. Would appreciate.

Have you tried contacting Tevion ? If its a known fault they may repair it free or charge or seeing as it only just out of warranty they may sort something for you as a goodwill guesture.
