FAS & FETACLevel5

While I was in a workshop for a FETAC LV5 Course (my reason there being a dropout). I was filling out in an application form and asked me if I was registered with FAS.

So anyway, I go home and head to the FAS Site to see if it had any information about registering as a student/trainee or whatever the underlings are called there. I found nothing to my avail.

So if anyone would like me to fill me in, heres some questions:

1. Is there a certain FAS Form to fill in when applying for FETACLV5 or is there 1 all-purpose form?

2. Where exactly would I find this information on the FAS Site?

Hi Isaac,

I think what the form was asking you is, did you register with the FAS office in your area when you became unemployed? This means going in to your local office and having a short interview with the FAS person ( forget their title) who will advise you on your options. They will then register you and you will be on the live register for any courses etc. which become available. This would be your first step I think.
