Relative started a fas course and after completing the first day became sick and was hospitalized for a week, sent in the sick certs but they have come back to say that they won't pay them and they should be on disability now. Is that correct? they mentioned something about 30 days. Can disability/illness benefit be backdated so that person receives payment for days missed?
