New Member, but big problem.
Seven years ago, my wife's mother was about to die. She had 36,000 acres of land (11 miles of beach) on the Sea of Cortez side of baja to leave to her 7 siblings. One sibling, a daughter, was already a mexican citizen and decided to take her mom to the capital of baja, La Paz and get a will done. Nobody will believe what happened next. She successfully registered a will using witnesses pulled from the street. The mother died less than a year later. The sister with held the will from all the other siblings for nearly seven years when she finally gave a copy to my wife. The will reads, "the daughter is the executor of the will and the sole owner ( for legal reasons) and was to divide the property between the siblings "AS WAS DECIDED/DISCUSSED ON THE PLANE RIDE TO LAPAZ". The executor, the sister, subsequently announced that NONE of the children are to recieve any of the property or its proceeds.
Can we get any suggestions. We thank you in advance...
