My daughter has lived and worked in the UK. for the last 5 years.I believe she qualifies as non resident for the purposes of no liability for cgt on her FA share payment received .Does she have a liability to the UK inland revenue ? Can anyone advise please ! (1st time user)

As your daughter is resident and non ordinary resident she is only within the charge to irish cgt on specified irish assets.

Specified assets include shares of a company which have their registered office in ireland.

Thanks Capall, but I d`ont understand. Are you saying that she is liable for cgt here even though she qualifies as a non resident?

Apologies ,its actually only for irish unquoted shares that a charge to irish cgt for a non resident can arise.
There should be no irish cgt due for your daughter.
She would need to check however whether she has a UK liability
