Extra large Rugs

Hi
Im having difficulty trying to locate extra large rugs. Im looking for one around 340cm x 240cm (11ft x 8ft) but Im having no luck. All there seems to be out there are those old traditional ones with detailed designs.

Im looking for a simple rug at a reasonable price.

Could I go down the carpet remnant route (i.e getting it edged)
 
Hi,

Unfortunatley thats not a standard size floor rug, so you would pay much more for this. 200 x 300cm, 250 x 350cmm are fairly standard sizes so you should be able to get them for a more reasonable price.

Where are you based? Rug Art in Clonskeagh or Duff Tisdall in Goatstown should have a good selection but you will haved to ask them about the size.
 
I've seen very large rugs in places like CO Op stores(4Homes!)Prices are a little expensive but some of them where nice! this was a few months ago, also in Carpet Stores like Carpet right they have a collection of large rugs. Harvey Normans surprisingly enough but you can bet they'll be over priced! Homestore+ have them too, but alas I cannot recall the pattern/styles of them!
 
There's a good carpet shop on Bray main street. Wide range of prices. Can't remember the name. Also, was in Britton's carpet shop in Glasthule this week and the guy said some of their carpets are generally ordered as rugs, so that's an option maybe.
