Hi all
Apologies if this precise query has been asked before - if it has I couldn't find it........
I need to insulate my house which has cavity walls. I'm inclined to go for external insulation for aesthetic reasons. Someone has told me that external insulation is not at all efficient on a cavity wall as the warm air from the inside will simply escape upwards upon reaching the cavity. The thing is I have done a bit of surfing trying to find evidence to rebut this argument and have been unable to do so. Any thoughts?!
