I have been asked to be an Executor on my brothers will along his wifes sister. What am I going to let myself in for? Is it normal to have two executors on the one will?

most definately.. 2 heads are better than one.but you should ask your brother to ensure that all is clearly written down and all angles covered.the executor is there to execute the will not to make decisions on how the estate will be divided, that should already be in the document

You should also note that as Executor, technically you will be responsible for the burial of your brother's body when the time comes, so you should ensure that he leaves detailed instructions as regards his wishes.

It is better to have two executors, as you can help each other.

It can take a lot of time, and dont expect to be paid for it. Your brother must have a lot of faith in you to trust you with looking after the administration of his estate.
