Paid by Telegraphic Transfer an amount of 36,000euro and was charged approx. 44euro by bank. When I queried the charge they said if I had completed 3 telegraphic transfer forms with a value of 12000euro each I would have been only charged .51cents each. I would have thought that more work would have been involved doing 3 TTs instead of 1 TT and cannot see the reason why TT in excess of 12,000 are charged at a much greater charge.
