Example of an AI answer to a Money Makeover question

This was stuff from the Property Pin years ago where they said the ClubMan was the nicer version of me. They didn't really like me much.

I have not seen anyone suggest this for years.

But the AI read the original thread which everyone was in agreement. Hardly an endorsement. Only thing I'd take from this is that AI can read and search google better than human.

So what would a good test be?

1) I will make up a MoneyMakeover
2) I will try to engineer it in such a way that there would be quite a bit of disagreement on askaboutmoney
3) Ask Chat GPT
4) Only after asking Chat GPT put up the question on askaboutmoney.
5) But keep the Chat GPT answer confidential.

What the AI answer does is bore the reader. It waffles on and on and says in a 1000 words what Brontë would say in a very short pithy answer. What is also missing is the soul and energy the people who take the time to answer bring to the discussion. Usually everyone has a personal slant and give a personal insight into their comment, which adds to the discussion rather than distracts from it. The personal answers also allow for debate and added insights from others. If AI gives the best, most complete response, referencing authoritative sources, what is the point in the board any more? Will AI ask the reader to fill out the template?

we have been trained to an inch of our lives on using AI in the law firm I work at. Prompts are so important. I think it’s a good idea to limit the sources the ai can use. For example this site, national newspapers, big 4 accountants, revenue etc. and to ask it to include a link to a primary official source for every calculation cited. It should only use data from the last 12 months. It should be reminded to check all information against the latest Irish budget

I’m sure there there are others but taking a good 5/10 minutes prompting is probably essential.
