Estate Agent Misleading Enquirers

If an Estate Agent purposefully misleads an enquirer on a significant issue whare can one go? I approached their master franchiser and the IAVI and did not get any satisfaction. The property was sold to an immediate family member of the agent and I was excluded from the sale as were a number of others.

My sister had a similar issue a few years ago when she had a bid in on a property , she works as a legal secretary and the contracts came to her firm showing the property being sold to a cousin of the estate agent at a lower price than she had offered . She complained about it (but not in public)as she was bound not to discuss a clients business . Needless to say she has not used that agent and has purchased an appartment and a house since then and has done ok in the property market .
