ESB pole on my site.

The ESB brought power to my site and put the pole in the back corner of my site. The area around the pole takes up about 10 ft sq at the corner. I am losing some of my garden and i dont want the kids near it either! What options do i have?
 
same happened to me, spoke to the farmer who owns the land behind site and asked if we could move it out there, he said we could and we did. ugly yokes them poles, take up too much space

Did this cost you much?
 
I think just a connection fee of 250euro. The pole is only supplying my house but the I know farmer will not let me put the pole on his land. Its like "The Field" around here.

TBH I don't blame the farmer, why should he lose the 10sq feet that you mentioned.

As for options, I don't see you have any if you want electricty in your house, you could ask them about moving the pole to some common ground and you provide an underground pipe from your house to the pole for your supply.
