Health Insurance Enchanced 250 VHI

I have a young lad in St Paul’s medical aid society.
Will cost for him 1400 per year from January - young adult .
My sub on top of this is - 166 e per month
(1.992) per year.

I see from a quote I got just now from the VHI - 652 euro for year - enhanced 250 plan - seems to have good cover -
It’s very expensive to keep young lad on the medical aid -
Appreciate any views on this plan/Quote - with VHI , thanks , D
 
It may well be enchanting, but I suspect that it's called Enhanced 250! ;) (Bloody predictive text strikes again!)

my wife myself and two young kids will cost me 4900 a year from next February if I stick with it!
 
Laya have a policy called Signify Plus, it's €490 for a young adult on that.
I only know about the Laya ones because we are with Laya.

EDITED:
The VHI plan you mentioned is Young Adult (18 - 20 yrs) - €400.77 so that's cheaper than the Laya if the person is just turned 18.

Thanks so much - the VHI , is 670 I think - he is 22 - 23 in January- as you say that- that I might hold off and see how much it will be after his January birthday. !! I’m sure 23 must be a “full” adult rate !?!
