Hi,
Seeking recommendation re. employment law solicitor with experience of taking cases v. Civil Service.
Case relates to discrimination/negative workplace behaviour/penalised due to reporting incidents.
External professional advisors have advised that I have a strong case and that I should seek legal advice, but it's difficult to find out which solicitors have expertise in representing civil servants.
Daunting decision to select the best legal practice.
Our union is small, not in a position to provide legal assistance, union members have to self-fund legal representation.
Would be very grateful for any advice, thank you.

Most solicitors that deal with employment law should be able to help. I don't think it being the civil service makes any difference.

Richard Lee https://www.leesolicitors.ie/ is good and will give you a straight opinion on the pros and cons of taking any action.
