I haven't yet changed from ESB because I want to know which is better - Airtricity or Bord Gais.We have a monthly bill from ESB of about 130 euro.Thanks for any useful information.

Year 1 12% less than esb if go direct debit. 2% bonus if gas customer
Year 2 5% less than esb
Year 3 5% less than esb

Airtricity
Year 1 13% less than esb
Year 2 13% less than esb
Year 3 13% less than esb

Has anyone here switched to airtricity? Is the service good, any problems?

I don't know too much about Airtricity but I can predict an inevitable relocation of this post!

The 13% airtricity saving requires Direct Debit and sign up for the payment plan (not a bad thing). But there is only a guarantee of 13% below ESB till Jan 2010 - no further than that from Airtricity.

Am in process of switching to Airtricity. Have not heard of any problems particular to Airtricity. Will advise.
