Hi, have gotten a quote from an electrician to do some work in the house. Just wondering if people think its a decent quote.
Works to be done
1. moving the Electricity Meter- €628 (includes ESB cost of €158 and Cert, new meter box etc)
2.Re wiring of house all rooms and kitchen wiring done (including all lights and sockets in house
twin sockets €60 each
tv points for sky €100 each
phone pt €40 each
GU10 down lighters €50 each
wall lights wiring only . €40 each
Utility Wiring in Kitchen €50 each
Timer fan bathroom €90
Immersion switch ,timer, pump, earthing and bonding- €300
Supply and fit new MCB fuse board - €500
Outdoor security light- €90
TOTAL for whole job €4720. This included supply, fit and clean up of all areas, made good etc.
The whole house is in rag order electrically. 4 Bedrooms, Living/Dining Area, Study room, Larg Kitchen, Bathroom. Basically €4720 to sort the whole place.
Does that seem reasonable?
