electrical problems in 5yr old house

Hi

I bought my house in 2005, it has a 10 yr Homebond Guarantee, lately one of the powerpoints where I plug in the washing machine and dryer is not working, there is no power and the switches are stuck they wont switch off, is the electrician that worked on the house still responsible? there is also another power point that I discovered is not working either? I rang the builders and they gave me the name and no of the electrician.

Cheap sockets. Homebond only covers you if the house starts to fall down, and I believe even then only up to a limit per builder. At the end of the day the cost will come from your pocket.
