Health Insurance Elderly Mother VHI 42 15 alternative

Hi,

Just hoping for some suggestions as to cheaper alternatives. The plan is due for renewal next month and is coming in at €1800.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

1. VHI PMI 38 14; price 1679pa; same hospital cover as before, no excess for admissions or day case. Good day to day cover included,
refund of 130 per consultant visit, 75% refund per gp visit, etc. 80% cover for hip and knee replacement surgery, same as before.

2. VHI Company Plan Extra Level 1; price 1735pa; same hospital cover as before, no excess for admissions or day case. Same day to day
cover as before, 75% refund for consultants, gp, etc. 80% cover for hip and knee replacement surgery, same as before.
