Eircom in examinership, Account in credit, money safe?.

Hi all.

I'm in the fortunate position of with careful budgeting, being able to keep my bills in credit, and am very thankful for that.

My Eircom account is in credit, and as Eircom's now in examinership, I wonder if anyone knows if my money is at any risk?. Would it be prudent to ask for a refund?.

Your money is safe.

Why is your account in credit? If you have surplus cash, a deposit account is the best option.

I keep my bills in credit because I'm disabled, and looking after my mother who's very ill. Sometimes, I can't get out of the house for several weeks at a time, so I don't want to have to worry about disconnection. I've enough to be worrying about!.

Hate DD, too. Had major probs with them before.
