My Dad passed away 2.5 years ago . He left a will leaving everything to my Mother. She has since discovered an account in the EBS with quite a large sum of money in it.
Thing is , the account is in his name only. She is elderly and went to the EBS to ask for access to the money. They said they need a 'Grant of Probate' in order for her to access it.
Thing is, if he left a will leaving her everything, why does she need this and how does she go about it.?
