Dunnes Stores Alcohol reductions

The Jack Daniels (original old No. 7) is €23 actually. It's the flavoured versions that are €28.
Some good deals alright, Havana Club rum is €21 on offer which is cheapest I've seen it but be aware one of the reasons it is so cheap is the ABV has been reduced to 37.5%.
The wine boxes are a way of getting around the multi-buy discount, whereas before they could run buy 6 bottles for €48 deal.
But they can sell a wine box with 6 bottles in it at that price, as it's not a "multi-buy" in the same way.

For any Guinness drinkers out there, Dunnes again have the 15 x 500 ml cans for €24.85, that's €1.66 each and I think, is the lowest that can be charged for a 500 ml can of 4.2% beer under minimum alcohol unit pricing.
You can’t get it any cheaper.

For the Guinness drinkers, these cans and a jewellery cleaner, a million miles better than the nitrosurge gimmick.

A lot to be said for just buying what you need when you actually want it rather than stocking up and going through it just because its there. Its not like bulk buying toilet roll or the like

Yeah but creamy pints! You can't put a price on happiness lol.€7.35/L?
When these were first introduced around 2021 they were around €50 for a tray.
Far longer timescale involved but clearly remember husband and relative drinking way out of date cans of beer from local supermarket in Turkey. They went for it because it was brand sold here. It didn't make them sick so they stuck with it, rather them than me

Cheaper than pints in a pub but I cannot imagine spending over €90 on a slab of beer

Agreed its pricey but we rarely drink so when I do I'll make sure it's something I really want and will enjoy.
