Dunnes glass door knobs?

I am wondering can anyone help me out?

My wife is short of one glass door knob for our set of wardrobes (to replace some naff brass ones).

They were on sale in Dunne's over the past while and she managed to get 15 of them but we're one short! They're actually made of clear plastic, about 1 1/2" in diameter with a brass threaded bar running out the back. They were the only sort like that for sale in Dunnes.

So if anyone as seen them in the last day or so or knows where I might get one, I would be eternally grateful (I will pay over the odds if necessary!), we have searched all the stores in Galway, Roscommon and Castlebar but no luck.

You could try calling Dunnes in George's St or Ilac Centre and see if they have them - at least you can get them to hold on to one for you and perhaps some kind soul here would pick it up and post it to you. If you can put one on hold, I'd be happy to oblige - but couldn't face walking around in monsoon season here in Dub to see if they have them!

You could try ringing their head office in George's St. (I think) as they might be able to help.

I phoned there once or twice in the past about clothes that I was trying to track down and they were able to advise about availability in different branches.

They might be able to let you know if any of their branches still have stock as far as I can recall they can check their computer system and give you some indication as to stock etc.
