B Buddy1977 Registered User Messages 42 12 Nov 2015 #1 Hi anyone any idea of the best way to dryline 600mm wide stone walls. Getting a lot of conflicting ideas on google searches. Walls are plastered externally, walls have no evidence of damp internally and currently have layer of plasterboard fixed to battens

B Buddy1977 Registered User Messages 42 13 Nov 2015 #3 Xtratherm have advised me today to install battens @600c/c, infill battens with PIR 40mm, 50mm outer layer of PIR then plasterboard. Vapour barrier built into the system. No airgap behind the insulation to allow the wall to breath! Is this madness ?
