Driving Instructor training

Does anyone have any information on driving instructor training, I have contacted several companies but to be honest all the information is vague and they are not making the steps i need very clear to me. Basically I am interested in setting up a driving instructor business and need to get as much information as possible. I haved checked out drivinginstructor.ie,ism etc. Somebody told me there was an ad in one of the sunday papers a few weeks back, possibly hibernian?

reigniting an old thread, how did you get on with this, it is something I have been thinking about lately, will check the link shortly, did you go ahead and train at this? how hard/easy was it, how long did it take if you went ahead with it?

anyone know if it is normal for driving schools to expect job applicants to pay for driving lessons/training? to quote "A fee applies for training with us but at a reduced rate."

the job is advertised on well known websites but I am wondering if this is just a way to generate income from "driver instructor training"?
