Double check your electricity bill especially with Panda Power

I just got a very high electricity bill from Panda Power. Upon further examination and comparing to it to my last bill I found that they were charging me for the same period twice. The previous bill covered May - August (and was fully paid on time by direct debit), while the new bill was for May - October, charging again for the same period as the previous bill. I also noticed that they hadn't applied my correct discount rate on the previous bill.

I rang them and they said they'll rectify and re-issue the bills, it's just one to watch out for as with all the talk lately of electricity & gas prices going up someone might see a high bill come in and just incorrectly chalk it up to energy price increases.

I don't know if this is a problem specific to just Panda or not but I've had loads of billing mistakes from them in the past (with their bins mainly), the mistake is always an overcharge and never an undercharge, funny that...
