Does type of petrol matter?

If I buy high octane petrol instead of regular 95 octane, will I notice any difference in the performance of my car, and will I get more mileage out of it? I'm driving a 2.0 Rav 4. (2007).

Check your driver's handbook which will tell you what grade of petrol the car is designed for. It is not a good plan to vary from what it says in the handbook.

unless you are driving a performance car (not a rav4) , you will not get a noticable differance. Save your money and stick to 95 octane
