Does anyone know if Mars Capital are doing deals?

Hi there. My mortgage was sold to Mars Capital from INBS (we weren't in arrears or anything but still..). Currently there is about €100k left on the mortgage and the value of the apartment is about €170k.
The mortgage is manageable although I was late recently with one payment (and they sent me out a load of info about dealing with arrears).

I am about to come into some money and would be able to pay it all off. Given that I hear these vulture funds are really not in it for the long haul does anyone know if it is possible to get any amount of debt written off in exchange for paying off the balance quickly?

I doubt it as they have a very profitable loan that is in positive equity and not in arrears.

No harm in giving them a shout and asking them.
