Do you recommend onlinetradesmen.ie or tradesmen.ie?

I've been contemplating on taking up the tools again, on a part time basis, and I'm wondering who of the above two are best to advertise with?

Just by way of anecdote -- I've use tradesman.ie several times, but never even heard of the other one.

I used tradesmen.ie before when seeking a carpenter for a project in the past.I found it a good website to use and I was happy with the carpenter that I picked out.

You place an ad and then the various trades people who are signed up to the website contact you and them come to price the job you want done.

Its kind like a tender process.

As a customer, I've used tradesman.ie a few times - it would be my first port of call - and usually get at least a couple of callbacks for jobs.
I recently advertised on both there and onlinetradesmen.ie (which I'd only found recently from googling) and got at least 3 callbacks same day from each. Now I have a queue of tradesmen lined up to get quotes from :)
I found it useful for things that aren't as simple as "plumber in cork" - I needed a 'team' of builder, plumber, electrician and wall insulation specialist...

I've used both as a tradesmen. I won't detail experiences only to say that onlinetradesmen was the only one to ask me to prove my qualifications before joining. I think the concept for both is good for the customer as it saves a lot of searching or ringing around. Hope it helps.
