Do You Know Newtownstewart, Co.Tyrone ??

Anyone here know much about the town of Newtownstewart, Co.Tyrone (halfway between Omagh & Strabane).

How quiet would the centre of town be for someone from Mayo, and the accent to match...

As I might be working in Omagh, and I noticed there are cheap rents available in the town of Newtownstewart (though I've never been there).

Passed through it on many occasions. On a Mayo comparison, it would be abou the size of Knock.

In contrast to Knock, by the names on all the shopfronts, I'ld say they'ld be more interested in an apparition of Martin Luther than Our Lady....................if you get my jist?
 
alway struck me as being stuck in a timewarp. if it was foggy or halloween I woudn't stop.

way better choice Jazz. great little town, but not everywhere will take euro coins.
 
Theres a dodgy sounding pub in the centre of the town called Wel-Cum-Inn ... never did venture inside meself tho!! :\
