I’ve been resident in Ireland for 2 years and will soon be in a position to buy a house. I have all the necessary requirements such as stable income, deposit and regular savings. However, I’m worried that Irish lenders will ask to see my UK credit report which isn’t in the best condition.
Has anyone been though a similar process? I’d love to know how I can navigate this issue or which lenders won’t ask to see my UK credit file.
I read somewhere that if you’ve been resident for 3 years then they won’t ask but I don’t know for sure.
