Do i need to keep receipts??

Hi, i am a PAYE employee who receives travelling expenses of up to €10,000 per annum. I dont keep any receipts as my employer does not request them, all i have to do is complete an expense report each week.
Can i be liable for extra taxation if i cannot prove my expenditure or is it a matter for my employer???

I would imagine that you could be and it would be a prudent idea to keep receipts to vouch for genuine expenses reimbursed by your employer even if the employer does not need/request these.
