Many irish companies now only have their listing in London but in their ISIN number they have an IE prefix, does this mean they pay their taxes in Ireland and the dividend withholding taxes are irish dividend withholding taxes? It just that with UK stocks there are no dividend withholding taxes. For example Greencore does all its business in UK now even though originally it was an irish company , it still has an IE prefix in its ISIN number does this mean that irish dividend withholding taxes are deducted?

I am exiting this conversation because of the hatchet job done on my replies.

Irish Revenue are extracting tax at source on all shares.
IBKR state that they are required to collect Irish tax from Irish residents
but if it is an irish company are they not extracting dividend witholding taxes from all share holders not just irish residents, for example if I own a french or german stock french and german dividend withholding taxes are deducted even though I am not a french or german resident?
