Disposing of Gardening Equipment.

Thinking about a Spring clean. I have a half dozen or so garden shears and other bits of metal things....garden fork head, shovel etc.

All fairly basic cheap items, so probably cost more to have them sharpened than their original price.

Is there anywhere that will take these....a charity perhaps.....or have they any scrap value?

lots of Zero Waste sites - eg Zero Waste Shankhill - lots of people will collect various items even those in need of repair or upcycle. Just join, take a pic and load Zero Waste in your locality.

You could put them up on Facebook Marketplace as a job lot; have managed to clear a lot of household stuff that way.

Facebook market place,free sites like adverts or done deal.you might even get the price of a new one from the sale of the old ones

Also there maybe someone on Freecycle that would like to take them off your hands.
