Disability allowance

Thought it best to remove this as it "seems" to be wrong to post rumoured questions.. alot of ****ed off users, i thought people here did'nt like others taking advantage off the system !!

Well I'm not clear what the question is? do you think they are fiddling the system? Dont know how you would find that one out. If people are gossiping about where they get their money from, (could they have won the lottery?) there could be any explanation.Maybe they have income from the second house which funds the lifestyle. Is disability means tested?

You could wonder all the time about where people get their money from but it doesn't necessarily mean they are fiddling. You also have to be careful of accusing people as well but I know what you mean. I have a few suspect people around where I live but I leave it at that unless I have evidence to say otherwise.

I dont understand all these land grants, CAP, etc. as I dont farm and wouldn't know whether you had to work the land to qualify, but I suppose you would.

Guys, I'm curious about a local situation where a couple seem not to work but seem to have 2 new cars every 2 years and 2 houses but neither have worked in the past 10 or more years. It would seem from the local rumors that the one claims disability while the other must be claiming careers allowance. It became a talking point after the farming CAP Beneficiaries where published and it came to be that they also receive a rather large grant for land owned but not worked. Is all this possible? Seems unreal that this could be true so thought the question could be asked here.

I dont know much about Farming Grants, or farms for that matter, but of this I'm certain,that we still have the right to privacy, in our own homes and families.
So unless someone has definitive proof, that a law is been broken, then I would suggest that " Local Rumor " mind its own business.
