I own 100% of a company say Co A and Co A owns 30% of the shares in another Company say Co B, I am a director of Co A & Co B. The remainder of the shares in Co B are owned by an unconnected company.

If Co A lends money to Co B is this treated as an Intercompany Loan or as a Directors Loan in the accounts of Co A?

This is unlikely to be a company law group. Accordingly there are likely to be restrictions on what company A can lend out. Talk to your accountant and to what can be done.
