Present problems with DirectDebits and Eircom prompts me to suggest anyone who opted to pay the LPT by direct debit should check their bank account to ensure it is being done. I chose this route and in February i noticed there no direct debit charged to my account. I phoned them and they said they could not find that i sent in the direct debit mandate(or whatever document that was requirerd). I am pretty certain that i did. However they set up a new debit which included the arrears spread over the 12 months.
