diploma in advanced accounts

Just recently been made redundent and was involved in the construction sector in the builder providers area.Was thinking of up skilling and was looking into doing the Advanced Accounts Diploma with Pitman training as I have always been interested in this field .The course seems to cover everything I would need but it is expensive although it is very user friendly on time demands as
I now look after my daughter as my wife is the main bread winner.How recognised is this diploma within the industry and what are the job prospects for somebody with this qualification
