Dining table and chairs

Hi

I am looking to purchase a dining table and chairs but I looking for something pretty impressive as I hav a fairly big space....ideally I am looking for a 10 or possibly 12 seater...trouble is ive went to numerous shops and I cannot see anything I like at all.

its a country house and I would like a thick solid wood table. Is there any place that makes them to spec? any suggestions welcome
 
I worked in Ardmore, Co Waterford for a while and there is a shop in the village that makes everything you could want in Pine. They may be able to help you with what you want. I think i saw on their van that they deliver nationwaide.

Try Fineline Furniture in Kilkenny, have purchased from them a few years ago.
 
Try Top Drawer in Stillorgan. Got a reclaimed Indonisan Pine table and six chairs there for about €1k... (3 yrs ago) but dont think its much more.. I know you are looking for a large table, this does open very nicely to an 8 seater if that helps. Very nice and chunky and country style. Defininitly a fabulous piece of furniture.
 
Or would you consider an antique table. Check out any local auction houses , there always tend to be one or two big tables at these things. And compared with new furniture they can often be good value.
 
Hi, we got ours table and chairs from Mango Crafts in Kerry but saw them at the ideal homes exhibition and ordered an 8 seater which they will deliver to your door for free, the wood is beautiful and they make it to your spec, I'd say you can get a 12 seater.They make it all themselves. Plus I got a free handbag with mine! I claimed I bought the handbag and the furniture came with it!
