Hi can anyone recommend furniture stores (preferably with websites) that do not sell the usual old stuff. Im thinking shops like Global Village and Strawbridge. Tired of looking at the same old overpriced stuff in big furniture warehouses.

Im looking for an extendable dining table and chairs in a french or gustavian rustic / painted, plain or distressed style that will seat 8-10 when extended and 4 comfortably when not.

All help appreciated.

Bren I am also on the same hunt - came across a table that is extendable on hedgeroe.com...based in enniskerry I think. No connection just had a table that I fancied...can't afford it at the moment tho...
 
thanks Kilbird dont live too far from there and saw that website - plan to have a look this weekend
 
Kilbird - have a look at the neptune range in Global Village or the Orchard Garden Centre in Celbridge - see - you might like that
