was hoping that someone could answer a Q for me,will a digital photo frame support a powerpoint presentation for information purposes?.

Only if converted to one of the supported digital image formats I presume? Not directly.
 
No to the best of my knowledge. I used to sell them and anything beyond an external media card was not supported.
